About Bharat Harikumar

Hey there! I’m Bharat, a passionate software developer deeply interested in Javascript, MERN stack, Django and everything Python. During my years as an undergraduate, I spent most of my time studying, watching movies and attempting to get into public service. “But why public service?” - you may ask. Because it seemed like the only viable career path that aligns with morals I value so highly like integrity, discipline and hard work. Long story short - I cracked through the exam but there was one problem. The transition was going to take at least a few months for processing purposes. So, as I needed something to do in the meantime, I started searching after which - I landed a job as a data analyst in a US based tech company (a position I held for over a year). After the processing concluded, I joined the Kerala Government and became a part of the Police force. Even though I joined as a generalist, my love for tech made me gravitate towards it, eventually getting me into the intelligence wing. Fast forward 4 years from then, I’ve gathered significant experiences performing various tasks surrounding web applications and supporting for centralised data integration. I’ve also had my fair share of experience dealing with all things data, including data analytics, harvesting, etc Because of the ceiling that exists in every Government job out there, my current state is one where I’m looking out for opportunities which does not limit my growth and align with my values.
