Background

About Bharat Jaishy

An astute scientist with a passion for business development and communication. With a vested interest in business solutions, I have obtained formal training in developing and commercializing laboratory-based biomedical discoveries. Business Development entails both leadership and communication skills. Away from the bench, I have been actively involved in a leadership role as a secretary and executive member of the postdoctoral association, serving over 550 postdocs at UTSW Medical Center, organizing symposiums, resource fairs, and career development activities for postdoc scientists. With distinction in “Writing in the Science” from Stanford University and a member of the American Medical Writer Association (AMWA), I am well-versed in high-quality science communication. I served as an editorial member of “Postdoc Informer”–an online newsletter–writing on science, scientific discoveries, and local science-outreach activities. I have extensive experience in editing and reviewing manuscripts for scientific journals. Apt in data analysis, I am a certified data scientist with expertise in programming language-R and python-for data analysis, SQL/PostgreSQL, and data visualization with tableau and Power BI. I am always open to new opportunities to meet people, share ideas, and build new partnerships. Feel free to contact me: bharat.jaishy@yahoo.com
