I have strong belief that “It is not necessary to do extraordinary things to get extraordinary results.” During a long and successful career in the Banking and Financial Services industry, I came up with competitive strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maximising collections, controlling risks, providing excellent customer service, and running a business well My progressive track record in evolving businesses with razor-sharp focus is my core strength and I am someone who is unwilling to settle for average. I am known to lead by example and change/challenge is something that excites me. Proficient in managing P&L-focused tasks like strategic planning, credit administration, collections/recovery/portfolio management, management information systems (MIS), staff trainings, customer relationships, and business development. Proven ability to set up and manage a collection and legal department, increase collections while decreasing bad debt, and handle a book size of $95 billion. Provided strategic direction for granting loans based on the organization's credit policies, RBI, AML, and KYC criteria. Championed risk management and collections strategies for secured and unsecured portfolios to reduce NPAs, delinquency, high-value fraud cases, and loan defaulters. The corporation owned LAP, Education, Institutional, Machinery, Housing, Vehicle, Agriculture, Unsecured Business, and Working Capital Loans. Customers were happier and stayed with the company longer because they could choose their own financial products and ways to pay for them. Collection bonuses and other enticing benefits were added, which made the team work well together. I'm a creative and dedicated analyst with expertise in multi-disciplinary teams.
