About Bhaskar Mani Adhikari

I am a Food Scientist by training and currently work as a Senior Technical Officer at The University of Queensland, supporting teaching and research in Food Technology. My day-to-day work centres on laboratory operations, equipment management, and maintaining safe, well-organised spaces that help students and researchers do their best work.I work closely with academic staff to support practical classes, mentor students in lab skills, and assist researchers with method development, troubleshooting, and equipment training. I enjoy making complex lab processes simpler and helping people feel confident working in technical environments.Previously, I worked at the FaBA MakerSpace, where I supported the development of shared research infrastructure, contributed to strategic procurement, and helped coordinate resources across teams and disciplines.I am passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. I enjoy working at the intersection of teaching, research, and technical operations, and I am motivated by creating lab environments that are safe, efficient, and genuinely supportive of learning and innovation.
