About Bhavanthy Modchalingam

I am a recent graduate of Business Analysis from George Brown College, with a Bachelor of Computing in Software Engineering from the University of Guelph. I love seeing technology being used for good and improving people's lives. ​ I have worked for 2 tech start-ups as a developer. The first being Postmedia I/O, where I focused on making their application cross-browser compatible. I also was part of a team that looked to improve one of the newspaper delivery programs. The program's goal was to bring the paper into a new digital age and gain new customers. This was where my interest in business analysis a process improvement started. I interviewed stakeholders to understand the process and developed a use case model to present to them. I also had the opportunity to work for Digital Kitchener, an IoT start-up for the City of Kitchener. I helped develop an application that aggregated data and display it to the user. I focused on allowing users to create personalized dashboards by saving the visualized data they needed.
