As a Biomedical Engineering Supervisor at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), I oversee the maintenance and repair of medical equipment and information systems that support the health and well-being of veterans. I hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification, which demonstrates my proficiency in networking technologies and protocols. I also have skills in financial analysis, which enable me to manage budgets, contracts, and resources efficiently and effectively. I have been working at the VA since 2019, starting as a Biomedical Engineer (Information System), where I was responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and upgrading medical devices and software. Prior to joining the VA, I worked as a Biomedical Engineer at WellSpan Health for two and a half years, where I performed preventive maintenance and quality assurance on various biomedical equipment. I have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry University, which provided me with a solid foundation in engineering principles and applications. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to improve the quality and safety of healthcare services for veterans and their families. I am always eager to learn new technologies and best practices, and to collaborate with other professionals in the biomedical engineering field. My goal is to contribute to the mission and vision of the VA, and to make a positive impact on the lives of those who served our country.
