With a wealth of experience in the IT industry spanning over 15 years, I feel extremely privileged to hold the position of Director of IT and Infrastructure Services at Sangoma. Sangoma is a cutting-edge provider of cloud-based communications solutions, and I am thrilled to be part of such a forward-thinking organization. In my role, I have the pleasure of leading five outstanding teams, totaling 20 members. These teams are responsible for network operations, cloud operations, systems operations, Security and end user support. Each team is made up of talented individuals who bring their unique skills and expertise to the table. My main goal is to guide and support my teams in delivering transformative projects that will greatly enhance our organization's efficiency, interconnectedness, and innovation. To achieve this, I rely on my extensive knowledge of agile and lean principles, process improvement, and technology upgrades. By empowering my teams to self-organize and achieve their objectives, I aim to create an environment where they can thrive and excel. I strongly believe in the power of collaboration and building strong relationships across departments and levels. Effective communication, active listening, and influencing skills are key components in fostering these relationships.
