My professional journey has had a substantial global impact through leadership roles across 5 sectors & 4 regions, specifically Africa, the Americas, E. Asia & S. Asia, including a decade of field assignments in Asia. My work encompasses the entire spectrum from humanitarian assistance to sustainable reform. I am a board member for two global NGOs on citizen engagement & climate change. I have pioneered and advanced community-driven development (CDD) initiatives in 2 multilateral dev. banks, consistently putting the last first. I was pivotal in formulating strategies aligned with the World Bank's (Bank's) mission, resulting in bold programs valued at $10B+, especially in CDD, including locally-led crisis response. These initiatives have measurably improved the lives of 15M+ vulnerable people by empowering them with resilience, agency, livelihoods, & digital tools. Fundraising is an essential aspect of my skill set. I excel in devising impactful strategies that optimize revenue streams from private & public entities. With a proven track record of exceeding annual targets of 10 figures—95% unrestricted—I utilize complex data analytics, foster trusted relationships & maintain an in-depth understanding of donors to identify critical opportunities for diversification & innovative financing. I've managed a grant portfolio valued at $11B+, ensuring its sustainability for 3 years, which the MOPAN recognized as the global best practice for attributes such as operational, financial, budget, risk mgmt & innovation. As a thought leader, my EQ & adaptability enable me to navigate uncertainties & make informed decisions. I'm committed to nurturing a culture of empathy & belonging that values DEI.
