About Bianca Ambrosio

I am a fiction writer, educator, and literary apprentice. My plays have been finalists at Manhattan Repertory Theatre competitions and have premiered at other theaters throughout New York City. I've also written book reviews for Bookreporter.com. I have worked as an editorial assistant at V Magazine. I have been in the arts my entire life. I attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, the "Fame" school, for dance. I hold an MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, an M.A. in TESOL from The City College of New York, and a B.A. in Social Sciences and Italian from SUNY Buffalo. Also experienced in radio writing and production, I contributed to Sandy Storyline, which won the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE AWARD for Transmedia. Furthermore, I am the producer and writer of Mammismo: Italian Mama's Boy Syndrome. I have an Instagram following from posting videos about my Sicilian family and Nonna. Most of all, I am looking to connect with writers and other literary professionals. Writing, connecting with others, and being a helping hand in any way possible are my passions in life.
