About Bianca P.

I am a passionate and dedicated honors Law and Society student at York University, with a focus on women's advocacy and international human rights. Growing up as a proud half-Cuban, half-Ecuadorian Canadian, I have a unique perspective that drives my commitment to understanding the intersections of culture, law, and social justice. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a United Nations volunteer, actively contributing to global initiatives and honing my skills in international development and diplomacy. I have also gained valuable experience through my participation in mock trials, where I was honored with the 'Best Witness' award and contributed to my team’s first-place victory at the Canadian Mock Trial Institute. In my professional life, I am a social media manager for a restaurant, Limón Lounge, and a social media assistant for the Pre-Law association of York University (PLAY). These roles have allowed me to develop strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. I thrive in collaborative environments and am always seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and make a positive impact.
