About Bijit Sinha

To sum it up, I write, I teach and I seek places to grow. After a brief stint as an editor at Cambridge University Press India, I transitioned to teaching at The Ardee School, Gurugram. In the summer of 2017, I co-founded a collaborative writer's interface, Hook Blue, to rave reviews. This was conducted in collaboration with several authors from Kitaab, Harper Collins and Zubaan. From July 2018 to June 2021, I was associated with The Ardee School, Gurugram in the capacities of an English Coordinator and a mentor. Throughout my tenure, I have taught English Language and Literature to Key Stages 2-5. I have also initiated individual programmes which provide a professional exposure to students. In July 2020, I had successfully pitched a co-authored manuscript with my 5th graders,"Jataka Tales: A Series of One-Act Plays". Launched in the presence of Ms Paro Anand, it reached #5 on Kindle Store (Traditional Stories for Children). In September 2021, I released an Android exclusive gaming title,"The Jackal's Call" which raked in more than downloads within the first two weeks of release. The game's narrative is inspired from the Panchatantra story,"The Jackal and the Drum." Further projects to be announced soon.
