About Bilal Bhatt

Dr Bilal is a healthcare optimist and idealist with 16+ years of experience in different domains of healthcare. He truly believes and aspires to make the healthcare industry better and safe (zero patient harm) by making healthcare personal. He has closely worked with the JCI accreditation process and commissioned many small and big healthcare institutions. His international experience includes South-East Asia, North America, and the Middle East. Developed a strategic model that improved the organisational performance resulting in 40M of annual revenue growth. Had a major role to play in the business expansion of 100 M which includes daycare surgical centre, IVF centre, OPD and physiotherapy expansion. Re-engineered the budgeting process for FY22 (400 M) Innovated a novel communication tool (GUIDET) to standardize communication at every level of care. Developed a clinical governance model and minimised the revenue loss of 40 M from the DRG reimbursement system. Chaired the Covid-19 Taskforce team in line with DHA regulations. Created a quality department from scratch in one of the largest hospitals in MOHAP and contributed to developing policies for 14 hospitals in MOHAP.
