About Bill Barker

I work with individuals to develop personal insurance portfolios including auto, home and life insurance. I am a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, and have experience both as an agent with Liberty Mutual and as a large loss homeowner's adjuster. As an adjuster dealing only in claims above I was in a unique position to help people on what was usually one of the worst days of their lives. I found this to be very exciting and rewarding work. It required extensive travel, including to Santiago, Chile to work earthquake claims. When I had a daughter, I knew it was time to return to sales. Upon my return I realized how much I had grown to love what I do. I get to help people secure their future everyday, and I am proud to go to work every day. Some of my local affinity accounts are: International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2068, International Association of Fire Chiefs Employees, Georgetown Day School, Accotink Academy, Sidwell Friends School, Maya Angelou Public Charter Schools, George Mason University Alumni Association, and Jenkins Restoration. I am also a member of Business Networking International. Since 2012, I have been a Liberty Leader every year, and I am an Executive Sales Representative. When I am ot working I am fishing, boating and enjoying the great outdoors with my four children.
