About Bill Beal

I have learned that being able to build a strong team will always lead to raising the bar for standards and more consistently achieving benchmarks. I have spent the last 15 years working within two separate industries, but one constant remained the same: my ability to communicate, connect, lead and motivate any diverse group of individuals I'm working with. With my Six Sigma lessons, I've been able to bring streamlined concepts to not just in my current job at Amazon and warehouse work flow, but also in my previous job at Macy's, where I was able to create a more efficient method of reducing profit loss with a proactive and expensive approach to training personnel. During the COVID lockdowns, I was tasked with finding a way to minimize contact between Amazon associates while still meeting customer demand. I was able to devise a work flow in one direction from inbound to outbound, by leveraging plastic dividers and drapery to ensure 6' distancing is adhered to without causing workload bottlenecking. With Macy's I was able to create a training program which dealt with more realistic expectations for the loss prevention and operations teams when dealing with loss / shortage. I was able to incorporate compliance audits with inventory control and physical security investments, without impacting customer experience and maximizing sales. Overall my skill sets expand from warehouse management to logistics planning to sales management / forecasting / P&L management. My ability to develop and earn trust with my teams has always been crucial for my success.
