About Bill Blomster

Hi! I’m Bill, born and raised in Stockholm, I’m a curious and easygoing person who loves working with others and bringing good vibes to the office. I have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of Gävle and have also continued my studies in graphic design at different Universities. During my studies, I had the chance to work on several exciting projects. One highlight was exhibiting at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, where my classmate and I designed a bollard aimed at creating microclimates in public squares to make them more inviting spaces. For my thesis, I collaborated with a company called Dalform to develop a concept for improving coatroom environments in schools. This resulted in a modular storage solution designed to create order, support better learning environments, and contribute to a more pleasant atmosphere for both students and teachers. Most recently, two classmates and I were selected to represent the University of Gävle at the EU GREEN Insectopia Festival in Spain. We presented a sensory garden concept that promoted recovery and biodiversity, designed to engage all senses. Outside of school projects, I’ve also worked at Klint, a paint startup, as a industrial design associate where I was involved in a variety of projects, ranging from storage solutions to optimizing workstations. I recently returned from a 5-month backpacking trip through Southeast Asia, where I got to explore places I’d only dreamed of. The experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me a new perspective on alot of things.
