About Bill Cacciotti

As the Principal of Greater Johnstown High School, I lead and manage a diverse and inclusive learning community that serves over 2,500 students from different backgrounds and abilities. I have more than five years of experience in educational administration, and I hold a MA in Special Education from The George Washington University and a Principal Certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. My core competencies include fostering a positive and collaborative school culture, promoting academic excellence and social-emotional well-being, supporting the professional development and growth of teachers and staff, and enhancing the engagement and achievement of students with diverse needs and backgrounds. I leverage my expertise in special education and visual thinking strategies to create differentiated and engaging learning experiences for all students. I also apply my emotional intelligence skills to build trust and rapport with students, parents, colleagues, and stakeholders. My mission is to provide quality education for all students and prepare them for future success.
