About Bill Fredrick

My APPROACH to economic development emphasizes customized strategies that provide organizational, institutional and structural flexibility and the inter-agency collaboration needed to meet the challenges posed by constant change. KEY FOUNDATIONAL FACTORS considered in my directional guidance to EDOs include responsive workforce training; use of current and emerging corporate, secondary and post-secondary educational resources; collaborative, community-based programming and implementation; evolutionary and sustainable economic development; resilient and agile programming and leadership; economic transformational development and redevelopment strategies; and progressive target development. I consider THE BROADER REACH of economic development in my work, including the impacts of economic transition on overall community health and well-being, economic vibrancy, and quality of life, and how Economic Development Organizations, together with community partners, can assist their area employers incorporate sustainable practices that minimize risks and enhance profits. I have conducted more than 325 PROJECTS IN 46 STATES at the local, regional and state levels and in several overseas countries. My projects have resulted in hundreds of thousands of new jobs and many millions of dollars in corporate investment.
