About Bill Gray

I am a native of Houston County Alabama and reside in Ashford with my family. I earned a B.S. in Wildlife Science from Auburn University in 1990. In May of 2020, I retired from a nearly 30-year career as a wildlife biologist with the Alabama Department of Conservation. During that time I was recognized as Wildlife Biologist of the year by the Alabama Department of Conservation and the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA) in 2004. I have over 3 decades of experience managing forested habitats for deer, turkey, and quail on public and private lands. I have provided land management assistance to countless landowners across Alabama, Southwest Georgia, and Northwest Florida; helping them develop wildlife management plans, improve habitat, and create exceptional hunting experiences. I am a Certified Wildlife Biologist and Certified Prescribed Burn Manager with over 30 years of experience. I hold real estate licenses in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. In my first 3 years in the land business, I have been recognized for performance in land sales with a Realtors Land Institute Apex Producers Award and a Tutt Land Company Champions Club Award. I am currently serving on the board of directors for the Alabama Chapter of Realtors Land Institute. I am keenly aware of the rewards and responsibilities of owning land. My goal is always to help customers and clients realize their dream of securing that perfect tract of land and seeing its full potential. I also work with seller clients to market their properties effectively and for top dollar. I strive to give due attention to every detail, from contract to closing.
