Storyteller, songwriter, and author, Bill has performed for all ages for over forty years in thousands of schools, 49 states, and a number of countries, appearing numerous times at the National Storytelling Festival. For twenty years, he was a regular commentator on NPR's "All Things Considered". With over forty recordings and a dozen children's books, Bill has twice won Grammy's for his spoken word recordings and earned Lifetime Achievement awards from the Children's Music Network and the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, labeled "the Mark Twain of children's music" by Entertainment weekly. He writes, performs, and teaches from his home in Seekonk, Massachusetts.
