About Bill Harrison

Bill is a partner with Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC, the largest regional CPA firm in Louisiana north of the I-10 corridor, with offices in Shreveport and Monroe. Bill is located in the Monroe office. Bill's practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of income tax and estate tax compliance and planning services, business consulting services, and financial planning services to closely-held businesses entities and their owners, professional service entities and their owners, and high net-worth family office entities and their owners. Bill holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Credential, a financial planning designation exclusive to CPA's signifying a combination of extensive tax experience with a comprehensive knowledge of financial planning. He also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation through the AICPA, signifying his accounting and financial expertise for combining demonstrated analytical skills with strategic insight to guide better business decisions. Bill is a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He has served professional associations in various capacities, including serving as president of the Northeast Chapter of the Society of Louisiana CPAs, as Chairman of the Taxation Committee for the Society of Louisiana CPAs, and as advisor to the Department of Accounting for the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Bill has served on numerous boards of non-profit organizations throughout his community supporting leadership, business, education, the arts, programs benefiting citizens with developmental disabilities, and his faith. Bill currently serves on boards with the Ouachita Riverfront Development Commission, University Health Conway and First United Methodist Church.
