Managing people in diverse markets and drawn from the broadest spectrum of New Zealand life, I am a master at producing top performing teams. 20 years in implementing and managing change projects. 10 years experience in various roles at a national level with Policy and operational lead on issues of Law, Youth, Australasian crime, training and cross sector relationships, customer relations management and collaboration. I am self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving and people skills derived from over a decade of policing and years of successfully managing a diverse range of people. Having led multiple projects with budgets ranging from several hundred thousand $ to multiple $millions I have the skills talent & aptitude to get the job done. I led a significant change project to move a major public sector organisation from input focussed accountability to outcomes / results based accountability (Statement of Intent), restructured output expense classes and service performance reporting. I have a track record of successful relationship management, in the face of some very demanding stakeholders - at the forefront of the interface between government Ministers (key stakeholders) and a large operational public sector organisation for 3 years. Not afraid to stand up for positive progress, not afraid to take on the scary project.
