About Bill Irving

After spending the first twelve years of my career in the defense industry and academia, I have spent the last 24 years pursuing a rewarding career at Fidelity Investments. My roles as quantitative analyst, to portfolio manager, chief investment officer and now division head have provided wonderful opportunities to help our clients achieve their financial and life goals while also fulfilling my passion for research, problem solving, and investing. In my current role as head of Fidelity Asset Management Solutions, I oversee the Global Institutional Solutions (GIS) and Global Asset Allocation (GAA) investment divisions which are responsible for management of multi-asset class, active domestic and international equity, and quantitative investment solutions for institutional investors. GAA also manages core multi-asset class capabilities, which include target date, retail, and Canadian multi-asset solutions.
