As an instructor, I have experience delivering several ServiceNow classes. I have a proven track record working with External-Facing, Instructor-Led training programs, as well as internal programs, designed to certify employees. As a part of the training group, I worked closely with the clients and the project team to develop training material that adds value to the ServiceNow Platform. ServiceNow offers an exciting list of options and building an effective training program can help clients see a faster return on investment. An effective training program can help clients take the “training wheels” off of ServiceNow so that users are more effective. I truly enjoy all aspects of the training process. Some might think that technical topics make for a very dry subject matter, however, it does not have to be that way. My goal is to lay a foundation that demonstrates how to perform tasks in ServiceNow, then build upon that knowledge so that users will understand why we took those steps. This way, we help the user see a greater value in the ServiceNow platform by understanding “why” and not just “how”. As an instructor, I get to see the moment when the student makes that jump from not just what to do, but why this process will make their work easier and more productive. In the role of a Business Analyst, I use my skills as an instructor to help our clients better understand what ServiceNow can accomplish. Taking this approach allows us to gather more accurate requirements, much earlier in the process. Once we have an accurate list of requirements, I can combine a knowledge of ServiceNow with presentation skills to help clients develop a vision for their projects. Then, I serve as a bridge between the clients and development staff to create that vision.
