About Bill McElfresh

Bill McElfresh is the Managing Director at Pacific Air Group, Inc; a firm providing consulting services in the airline industry which takes advantage of his extensive experience and background. He has been involved with establishing aircraft and aircraft engine support programs, aircraft and engine leasing and financing programs, aviation requirements and resources and, and aircraft engine market valuations. He is responsible for providing consultancy to manufacturers, lending institutions, banks, leasing companies, and repair agencies on providing and sourcing commercial aircraft for purchase, lease, or teardown, as well as commercial aircraft engines for lease or teardown. He works with various valuation agencies providing market activities related to financial transactions which support the aircraft transactions. Mr. McElfresh has recently been responsible for a sale transaction of three 747-400 BCF aircraft which were purchased for a long term lease opportunity. He also provided aircraft to a major parts company for inventory support, and was involved with the purchase and leasing of spare engines for a major aircraft leasing company. Bill was one of the first employees of Willis Lease and was on the Board of Directors and did the road show for the public offering. After his stock vested, he wrote a detailed business plan and was hired by Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi to build Engine Lease Finance. As EVP, he was instrumental in assembling a team that grew the asset base from about $50M to over $300M in three years. He was on the Board of Directors for ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) and has written many articles for industry publications and given presentations on leasing and valuation at various aviation industry conferences.
