We look for IP opportunities in the media and entertainment industry. Patience has created experience while working in an industry that moves at times too quickly. Started in Pgh, Pa. with long stops in Vermont (graduated from University of Vermont), traveling the world, living in the US western mountains and Summers canoeing in the Canadian and Alaskan wilderness. Many of these outdoor challenges had crux moments that became my foundation for managing the opportunities and elastic nature of of the media business. I seek to build and be part of teams that are devoid of big egos.'16 founded Denali Digital ($28M+fund)"we" found, bought,(from founders), and built out the Social App Triller, with the majority position sold to Proxima Media Oct.'19. Triller plans to be public in 2024 at a 3B+ valuation. An 8 year overnight success story that took one investor willing to gamble that UGC music videos on the handset would work. Denali also acquired a game studio in Hungary (Zip Zap Games),produced Spies In Disguise Mobile game (for the Disney movie) and a few TV pilots. 1990 -2015, my post company, Entertainment, produced hundreds of trailers, TV spots and docs for Sony Pictures and most of the major studios. Experienced in both corporate environments and entrepreneurial businesses, with a proven track record for recognizing trends, raising capital, building models and cohesive teams while executing against a plan. Experience in the music business,(besides Triller), includes Groovpix a music video company that released concert and documentary films profiling artists like 3 Doors Down, Kenny Rogers, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Bare Naked Ladies,+more In '09 we raised funding to create a movie distribution company, Big Air Studios that pursued a CRM solution to match audiences to their film choices.
