About Bill Peterson

I am the CEO of Kentucky Heritage Hemp Company and one of its owners, along with other family members. We provide the finest hemp products - CBD and CBG - on the market. Our operations are 100% certified USDA organic all the way through, meaning organic at every single stage: seed, soil, drying, grinding, storing, extracting, post-processing. To boot, our lab is cGMP and kosher certified. We are uniquely qualified to provide top-of-the-line hemp products: Organic CBD extract, and CBD and CBG distillate (<.3% THC and T-Free). We also produce the acid forms of these cannabinoids. The parent company of Kentucky Heritage Hemp is Peterson Farms, where I am a senior partner. After much exploration and diligence, my family and I launched into what was at the time a nascent hemp industry, harvesting the farm's first hemp crop in 2015. Hemp added diversification to the farm's corn, wheat and soybeans business. Peterson Farms supplies organic hemp biomass to the world's largest CBD brand, as well as to Kentucky Heritage Hemp. Kentucky Heritage Hemp was founded in 2019 and opened its state-of-the-art CBD extraction and processing facility that same year. Our team is always learning, and we continue to travel the globe to study advanced hemp cultivation and processing techniques. I enjoy trying new things! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering and a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and I worked toward a PhD in Agricultural Engineering at Cornell University before returning to my home state to work and raise my family.
