About Bill Prevette
Dr. Bill Prevette has worked internationally with youth and children at risk since 1985. His work began in urban Los Angeles with youth involved in gang related activity. He and his family moved to Southeast Asia in 1989. They worked in Thailand, Cambodia, and other countries in Southeast Asia. Bill directed faith-based projects ministering to youth, children and women at-risk from human trafficking. In 2002, he moved to Romania where he conducted doctoral research as an activist and practitioner engaged in youth work. He completed his Ph.D. in June 2008 at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies in the UK. Bill now lives in Oxford and serves as a research tutor for practitioner research with PhD candidates from Asia, Africa, Latin American and Eastern Europe. Bill serves on a number of international boards and continues to work internationally with seminaries, universities, churches, and faith-based organizations that are engaged with children/youth at risk and human trafficking.
