About Bill Solz

My Story I have always been interested in helping individuals who are in emotional pain through quicker acting healing approaches. My journey began with first learning hypnosis and then EMDR which put me on the map as a trauma professional. It enabled me to become the primary referral source for the Long Island Rail Road, TWA, American Airlines, and then a first responder during the World Trade Center tragedy. In 2013, I became the 17th person in the world to be certified in Havening, an even quicker acting, more user friendly, and effective treatment approach. My journey has resulted in my accruing specializations in addressing individuals experiencing: •Anxiety, Depression, Trauma •Alcohol and Substance Abuse •Anger Management •Domestic Violence •Grief I continue to be actively involved in providing counseling to children and adolescents. I have had a unique background previously working as a child care worker, teacher, and school social worker of 26 years in the Department of Education. I have also actively been providing parenting workshops. Additional workshops that I have been conducting pertain to stress management, trauma, and anger management. I am also addressing grief related issues through my eight session grief recovery support group.
