I have 20 years’ experience in product design for Westpac Banking Corporation. My responsibilities include overall solution design and technical leadership of development teams. I have acted in a pivotal role; often working with marketing, legal, compliance and sales teams. Some recent achievements include- reducing loan drawdown execution time from 120 minutes to 4 seconds using RabbitMQ - learning Bootstrap 4 and leading a team of 3 in successful rewrite of 450+ page web application front-end - designing risk-weighted algorithms used to identify invoices for manual scrutiny prior to financing - identified market need for REST API, and brought the PayWay REST API to market As a digital nomad in 2018 - 2020, I gained invaluable experience in remote work and remote management while travelling through South East Asia, Europe and South America. Within the software development team, I am acknowledged as an expert in solution design. I am knowledgeable about banking regulations (including BCoP, PCI-DSS, and others) and all major Australian payment channels.
