My name is Bill Wright and I am the manager of Xfinity Communities. In this role, my primary focus is on driving product growth in the Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) space. I ensure sales excellence by leading a team of Community Account Representatives. Managing the sales environment and developing and executing growth strategies are crucial to the success of my market. One of my significant achievements includes leading the implementation of the "Next Generation Access Network"(NGAN) specifically designed for MDUs. Additionally, I played a key role in transforming BAU properties into WiFi Ready Brownfield properties, a process that is being rolled out throughout Comcast. My exceptional performance in this organization has been recognized with two out of four Elite Awards. In addition to my responsibilities as a manager, I have also taken a proactive approach by creating and implementing a process that brings together Xfinity Communities' Representatives with lower-income communities to promote Internet essentials. For my work in this area, I was honored with the prestigious 2016 Comcast Ambassador of the Year award, presented by David Cohen and Jackie Joyner-Kersey. Before taking on my current role, I have led various initiatives within Comcast. As the Market leader of Comcast Houston Retail, I built the first Xfinity Store in the Country. Prior to that, I created and implemented one of the most successful "Field Tech sales programs" in our organization's history. Throughout my career with Comcast, I have been involved in many firsts, including creating and managing the first Xfinity Lounge in the Houston Rockets stadium, creating a similar interactive experience at the Houston Texans gate, and playing a significant role in the rebirth of our First In New Development (F.I.N.D.) program. Overall, my career at Comcast has been filled with achievements and successful initiatives, demonstrating my dedication to driving sales growth and creating exceptional customer experiences.
