I am a proven Project Manager who excels at working with individuals and coordinating team efforts to solve problems. In my current postion as a Project Engineer with Saint-Gobain Corporation I have modified drawings, prepared specifications, and supervised contractors in the installation of abatement equipment and the rebuilding of a glass furnace. My prior position was as a Sr. Project Manager with NIce-Pak Products where I was responsible for projects such as modifying individual machines, installing multiple non-woven manufacturing lines, maintaining the physical plant and expanding the plant's trailer lot. Before Nice-Pak I was with National Starch and Chemical Company where I supervised a maintenance shop of 14 union personnel in the daily maintenance and operation of a modified starch manufacturing plant. Some of my proudest accomplishments include: •Developing a quick change die insert reducing die changeover times from 2 hours to 10 minutes •Modifying an existing production line to accept a second wrapper machine and using an innovative way to supply wrapping film to both machines •Installing an automated palletizing and conveying system that saved $3.5 million in labor •Leading a project that converted a warehouse to a multi-line extruded film production plant I am interested in a position as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Plant Engineer or Facilities Manager.
