About Billy Catledge

I have an extensive background in working with public utilities. I started with the City of Rock Hill in as a groundsman and was promoted over the years to an a-class lineman. I have a strong knowledge of methods, materials and practices used in the workplace as well as the principles of electric systems. Most recently, I moved over to the Right-of-Way department where I have increased my knowledge of easements and contract negotiations as well as the AMI infrastructure. This has been a beneficial move for me as it has allowed me to become more polished with my written and verbal skills, as well as my computer skills. I have a positive, customer-focused relationship with customers and coworkers. I receive positive reinforcement from leaders. I am able to work independently or as a team. I am able to to communicate with people on all levels. I would say my biggest contribution is the ability to troubleshoot, assess a situation and provide feedback on how to best handle. I have maintained my certifications in: CDL Class A, OSHA, Safety & Health, CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, Fork Lift, Chain Saw I'm very particular about my work. I have a strong work ethic and I'm at work everyday! I've been married to my wife for seventeen years and we have one son who is currently a freshman at York Comprehensive High School. We live and are in involved in our hometown of York, South Carolina.
