I believe it's important to know the detail, to drive the big picture, and that experience is everything - It's important to trust those who have survived their challenges and won. Trust the gut! Back up the decision with numbers, and you are on a winner. Leading by example comes naturally - solid time at the desk is time well spent. But also be present with staff and work smarter to deliver more from less. Stop and think, slow down at times and focus, give to that which deserves attention. I prefer pictures over words, visualisations and stories over tables, and I harbour strong inner creative traits that serve me well in balancing an analytical drive with talent to bring a fresh new approach.
