About Billy Halim
Biotechnology has long been my field of interest. This passion led me to enroll in a bio-engineering course for my undergraduate studies, followed by a major in industrial biotechnology for my graduate studies. During the university and in my current job, I've been able to collect various practical experiences and delve deeper into the relevant areas which include- formulation development for biologics stabilization - chromatography (FPLC & HPLC) for protein purification and analysis - relevant experience regarding new biologics modalities i.e mRNA-LNP, Exosomes, etc - handling of commonly used methods for biologics analysis (CE, DSC, nanoDSF, DLS-SLS, ELISA, etc)- experiments with bioreactors (stirred tank reactor & photobioreactor)- pharmaceutical quality management system Moreover, I've also acquired the soft skills set along the way such as project management, intercultural communication skill, presentation, etc. This combination of skills prepared me for the exciting & dynamic world of biotechnology industry.
