The Welch family has a long track record of providing high quality products and unmatched service to customers for over 36 years. Our customers are our extended family, and we are proud to say that our very first customer 36 years ago is still a customer today. Growing Strong with Our Customers We have worked hard and invested over the years to ensure we keep pace with our customer's growth and changing demands. We offer the largest aggregate material reserves in the North Houston area and state of the art processing facilities with technology that allows us to meet our customer's needs. Products at a Glance Oil and Gas Well Services - Hydraulic Proppants: Logistics from our North Houston plant are very economical given our close trucking distance to the Eagleford, Woodbine, Eaglebine, Tuscaloosa, and Haynesville shale formations. Our frac sand products include ISO/API spec 30/50, ISO/API spec 40/70, ISO/API spec 100 Mesh. Highway, Commercial and Residential Construction - Aggregates LMI is a state-approved TXDOT vendor. We proudly supply materials to some of the largest highway, commercial and residential construction contractors in Texas. Other construction end-uses for our sand includes asphalt, gunite, bridge construction and concrete pipe products. Industrial Uses Our state of the art equipment allows us to produce custom sand for a variety of industrial end uses, including glass sand, filtration media sand, golf course sand, specialty silica, blasting sand, foundry metal casting and molding, grout and stucco mixes, and fiber glass pipe.
