About Billy Laroy

Currently, I am finishing up my PhD in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Health Science. My expected graduation date is Summer of 2024. Current duties at PETNET Solutions consist of presenting new employee orientation (radiopharmacists, cyclotron engineers, biomarker specialists, etc.) materials and training for development of new staff. Previous duties at Siemens Healthiness focused on Senior Test Engineer tasks to evaluate components and quality of PET/CT equipment and provide analysis and feedback with open communication to appropriate parties. Previously, I served as a full-time faculty member at South College since 2013 and was the Program Director of the Nuclear Medicine Program at South College. I have nearly 20 years of diverse clinical experience in Imaging Sciences. I received a Master of Health Science Degree with a Concentration in Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Allied Health from East Tennessee State University in 2005. I received a Certificate in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Tennessee and became certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board in 2004.Additionally, I received the Outstanding Clinical Student of the Year Award in 2004. I also hold a certification in radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists since 2003.
