About Billy Lee

Billy living in Brooklyn, NY. He has recently earned his BFA in Furniture Design from Savannah College of Art and Design while maintaining a scholarship and being on the Dean’s list. Throughout school, Billy also managed time for a job to cover his expenses. At school he has learned many skills and is ready to use them within the design world. In addition to his education, he has also completed an internship with a Savannah based furniture design company, Structured Green. While at Structured Green, he had a unique experience in assisting with the growth of a new business. His responsibilities included providing design and fabrication. Since graduation, he has also completed freelance projects. Billy believes that the design process works best with team work. Working in groups provides diversity and promotes divergent points of view resulting in a better product. He believes good design holds the idea of having purpose and function, while also creating something beautiful.
