Hi all! My name is Billy and I am looking for a job in the social media, public relations or marketing field! I love to work for organizations that allow me to show off my diverse and dynamic writing skills. I was a list writer with CBR.com, where I wrote weekly list articles relevant to the world of film and television for the site. CBR.com has hundreds of thousands of followers across their social media platforms and a wide, engaged audience of readers. I had the pleasure to work with MLB Network, where I helped run their social media pages and produce social media content for the network across all of platforms. I helped work with all of our shows to showcase their content and worked with athletes and talent as well to help promote our channels. Through my social media work here, I was able to reach millions of baseball fans across the country. In the past, I have had the chance to work with TuneIn, where I assisted in coming up with innovative ways to use their social media channels via analytics and analysis work, as well as implementing my strategies on their social media pages. Along with this, I created descriptions for their new stations to help search optimization. When I was with IF Management, I helped run their social media pages, as well as giving social media insight to the firm and our clients. I was able to work at Charter Communications for their field operations team, where I developed the proper skills to work in a corporate office, along with hard and soft skills that I can use for almost any job (Ex: Project Mgt. Excel, etc.). I have been able to grow my interpersonal skills through my group-based coursework, student council, and my part-time food service job. I also have cultivated many writing skills through my college career, which is considered a vital asset for any communications major.
