Graduate of St. John’s College - commissioned an Ensign and designated a Naval Aviator on 2 Jul 82 - initial assignment to VAQ-129 at NAS Whidbey Island, WA in the EA-6B - first sea assignment was to VAQ-139 on board USS Constellation – after first tour, sent to the A-6E RAG (VA-128)- in Mar 87, became the 1st EA-6B pilot selected for VX-5, a Test and Evaluation Squadron located in China Lake, CA - while at VX-5, conducted flight-testing in more than 7 different aircraft, including the F/A-18, TA-7C, A-4M, TA-4J, AH-1W, A-6E and EA-6B - after this tour, attended the Aviation Safety Officer’s Course at NPGS, Monterey, CA - upon graduation, reported aboard Carrier Airwing Thirty as the CAG LSO at NAS Miramar, CA - while attached to CVWR-30, sent to the F-14 RAG (VF-124) for cross-training in the Tomcat - in Sep 92, returned to NAS Whidbey Island and VAQ-309, to fly EA-6Bs - in Sep 94, ordered to VAQ-209 as the OIC of an EA-6B squadron - highlight of tour was leading squadron on a combat deployment on board USS Theodore Roosevelt where he flew over 100 combat hours over Bosnia-Herzegovina - in Sep 96, reported to the NWC in Newport, RI and received a Master's Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies - then assigned to NPC in Millington, TN - in Jul 01, selected as a SECNAV Fellow where he spent an academic year in residence at the Center for the Study of Professional Military Ethics at the USNA - on 20 Jul 02, assumed Command of NRC Memphis - then transitioned to the civilian sector and became the Director of Operations and Maintenance for Triumph Accessory Services on 14 Mar 05 - in Aug 07, completed a 2 year program and awarded an MBA from Newman University in Wichita, KS (his 2nd Master’s Degree)- on 14 Mar 08, named the Director of Sales and Marketing at Triumph and subsequently promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing – current position at Triumph Accessory Services.
