About Billy Martin

Billy Martin is the Senior Composer for Disney Publishing Worldwide. He also writes independently for selected projects. Billy has written music for award-winning apps, interactive projects, videos scored to picture, and scripted podcasts for Disney franchises including Frozen 2, Star Wars, The Mandalorian, Shang-Chi, Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto, Luca, Jungle Cruise, Coco, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy, Wreck-It Ralph, Finding Dory, Finding Nemo, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sofia the First, Brave, Up, Toy Story, Cars, Cinderella, Tangled, and many more. A GANG Award-winning composer, Billy has scored videogames for Ubisoft, Disney, Electronic Arts, Sony Online, and more. His work on the Ubisoft Rayman series garnered multiple award nominations: Rayman Legends (AIAS Award, Outstanding Acheivement in Music Composition; GMO Award, Best Soundtrack), Rayman Fiesta Run (GANG Award, Best Handheld Audio). Billy also contributed music to Rayman Origins and Rayman Jungle Run. A six-time GANG Award nominee, the Game Audio Network Guild presented Billy with a GANG Award for his score to the game Disney/Pixar Learning w/Buzz Lightyear. For television, Billy wrote the theme for the long-running celebrity interview show Entertainers featuring Byron Allen. He has contributed songs and production music to feature films including Spiderman 2 and Selena and has written for TV series including Minnie’s Bow-Toons and Kulipari:Dream Walker. Billy graduated with honors from Indiana University, where he studied music composition with John Eaton, Bernard Heiden, and Fred Fox. He has also studied conducting with Bill Kettering.
