About Billy Meston

Billy is a Partner with PwC in Australia, based in Perth, where he leads the Private Client Business of PwC. He has been a partner since January 2008 following his move from the UK where he was a Partner with Baker Tilly. Billy is currently a Director and Chair of the Finance, Risk, Audit & Governance Committee of Youth Focus Limited. In addition, he is formerly a Director and Founding Trustee of the Australian Defence Force Assistance Trust (now The Bravery Trust), where he was Chairman of the Audit, Finance and Investment Committees. Billy has been working with private, entrepreneurial and not-for-profit organisations in Australia and the UK since 1994. He specialises in external audit; corporate governance; process and performance improvement; strategy; valuations; mergers and acquisitions; national and international expansion. Over the past 7 years, Billy has worked closely with a number of Family Offices in WA, other States and also Globally. These range from newly formed and fast growing Offices to long-established Offices that operate more akin to an endowment fund. He works with Founders, CEO’s and CFO’s of these Offices on Strategy and Governance to help balance their growth and risk-management practices, in order to achieve the ambitions of the Founder(s). Billy has also advised businesses in many industries. Most recently these include: Agriculture; mining and oil & gas services; engineering; financial services; not-for-profit; aged care; logistics; infrastructure; and mining exploration companies. Billy is married and father to two boys. He is passionate about his family and heavily involved in his kids chosen sports, Hockey and Cricket.
