For over a decade, I worked in an executive role in the financial industry. During my career, I traveled 30-40 weeks per year to speak, coach, and advise other financial advisors on how to run/grow their businesses. It was a serendipitous meeting with a stranger looking for a financial advisor that changed the course of my career. While answering the man’s questions I realized that I could use my accumulated knowledge to help people like him and be home more with our growing family.With an aptitude for financial philosophies and an entrepreneurial spirit, I embarked on a new journey of launching Fundamental Wealth Designs. My life experiences have taught me to view retirement differently. I am dedicated to offering honest, reliable guidance to our clients that helps to empower them to build a sturdy foundation for retirement. At Fundamental Wealth Designs, we believe that a successful retirement means being prepared for anything life throws at you.I witnessed the value of planning for a secure retirement in my parents’ lives as my father’s health deteriorated. Although their retirement plans have altered, their foundation has not, and it has been critical to maintaining peace of mind in the face of life’s ups and downs. My parents aren’t going to have their dream retirement, but they can still make the most of it because they built the groundwork.I currently reside in Stillwater and enjoy spending time with my wife, Lindsey, and our four children: Bo, Sunny, JJ, and Cody.
