About Billy Xu

I have a Bachelor of Design and Technology from Western Sydney University, where I learned how to apply design thinking and innovation to create products that meet user needs and market demands. I am currently a Product Specialist at Tesla Motors, where I welcome customers to the Tesla family and educate them on the features and functions of their vehicles. I also support the store leader with delivery operations, ensuring a superior customer experience. I have strong communication, presentation, and employee training skills, as well as a passion for sustainability and technology. Before joining Tesla Motors, I worked as a Retail Merchandiser at Samsung Australia for over two years, where I was responsible for implementing and maintaining merchandising standards across the Samsung Consumer Electronics suite of products. I also assisted in flooring new and existing products, ensuring pricing and product displays were compliant, and identifying and winning opportunities in-store by leveraging store relationships and Samsung product benefits. In addition, I worked as a Regional Sales and Training Manager at vivo for seven months, where I managed sales and provided in-store professional training with 50+ retailers in Sydney. I have extensive experience and knowledge in the consumer electronics industry, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the Tesla team. I am motivated by the vision of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy, and I am eager to contribute to Tesla's growth and innovation.
