Background
About Bin Woo
Bin Woo graduated from Drexel University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in Spring 2011. Professionally, Bin has developed a special interest in treating sports-related orthopedic conditions, in particular overuse injuries, chronic tendinopathies, spine conditions, and post-surgerical rehab. Through his 10+ years of experience, he has had the opportunity to treat patients and athletes from high school to the professional level. Bin is dedicated in expanding his knowledge base in the most up-to-date manual therapy techniques and sports medicine research. He is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) by The McKenzie Institute. He has received certifications in the Active Release Technique (ART), Graston technique, Blood flow restriction, and Cupping technique. He enjoys utilizing Kinesiotaping to assist with lymphatic drainage, and helping athletes return to their specific sports and hobbies. His approach to treatment emphasizes patient involvment and utilizes “hands on” manual therapy, to provide best evidence care. Bin believes in the importance of education and sharing clinical experience with physical therapy students. He has worked as a teaching assistant at Drexel University, where he helped teach modalities for current physical therapy students in their Physical Agents class and has served as a Clinical Instructor for student physical therapist of all levels. Bin plans to continue to advance his clinical training in Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Vestibular/Concussion treatment, and become a board certified specialist in Orthopedics (OCS). In his spare time, Bin enjoys rooting for his hometown Philadelphia sport teams, exploring the city’s food scene, exercising, biking, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
