Inventory Control: Have handled the responsibility of Inventory control for Foods and Cigarettes. Areas of responsibility were as under:→ Planning & ensuring optimum levels of stock control by working closely with the Marketing & Godown Team.→ Analyze sales trends by brands and forecast their stock requirements.→ Monitoring brand wise stock positions and ensuring stock availability as per norms at godown level.→ Help in Achieving Distribution target for the branch through adequate coordination between the Sales and Logistics team.→ Preparation of Delivery Orders based on forecast & ensuring no stock outs by maintaining adequate pipeline & cover days by SKU’s.→ Co ordinating timely execution of the delivery orders with the logistics team.Monthly MIS:Have been responsible for preparing the monthly MIS in the form of a Branch Finance report.which includes detailed analysis of the various cost parameters and other critical business drivers. Payables: Have been responsible for checking and processing Freight payments for the branch and compliance to the laid down internal SOP on the same.Banking:Crediting & Depositing all negotiable instruments, Maintaining & Co ordinating of remittances of distributors vis a vis stock dispatches. Reconciliation & Maintenance of ledgers & bank statements and issuance of ledgers, Credit notes, Debit notes etc.OthersHave undertaken Customer visits from time to time to understand the working of an distributer and address difficulties if any being faced by them. The visit report was shared with senior managers.Have undertaken warehouse visits to understand and evaluate warehouse operations.
