I returned back to the video surveillance and video centric IoT solutions industry from January 2023 with the renowned world class leading manufacturer, Dahua Technology as their Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland region. First challenged to steer the marketing success of a global minded brand in the early in the 20+ years since, I have delivered significant impacts for brands including CBC (Computar & Ganz - Japanese optics/electronics brand), Genie Group (UK brand working with Korean and Chinese OEM) and iPIXA and it's sub brand Vertigo (UAE brands working with Dahua, Hikvision and other Chinese OEMs). In 2017, I realised a life-long goal to kick-start my own enterprise, and for 5 years, I had consolidated and solidified Burrito Fusion as a sub-brand of Binit Shah & Co Ltd. As a CIM certified marketing professional, entrepreneur and sales specialist, I expertly develop strategy, plans and initiatives that strengthens brand traction, delivers growth and revenue. I deep-dive into insight to ideate and execute marketing strategies that result in six-figure revenue and +15% growth in <2 years. I conceptualised and launched Burrito Fusion as a Vegan & Vegetarian only Mexican Street Food cafe and event catering company that capitalised in the growth of a niche market. I innovated modern, sleek OEM brands, iPIXA and Vertigo that gained rapid marketplace traction against global competitors as a specialist HD IP video security supplier in the MEA region, and successfully launched Genie Access Marketing Communications division, with ownership of hire, strategy and operations that achieved £250k+ in the first 18months. I also used forecasting, strategic retargeting and market segmentation to maximise Genie Group's six-figure marketing budget to achieve a major reposition in the video security market space, and was pivotal to the +15% growth in Genie revenue following promotion to EMEA Sales & Marketing Manager I have kick-started multiple brands, with the acumen to recruit talent, define goals and manage success against restricted budgets.
