About Binod D.

My career journey has been driven by a commitment to success and making a meaningful impact in the biotechnology industry. Throughout my professional trajectory I have worked with esteemed organizations such as DSM and Biocon. In previous roles I held influential positions such as Regional Business Manager at DSM. I strategically devised entry plans for DSM Bioenergy in South Asia and led the DSM Innovation Center in India. As Regional Category Manager and Category Manager for Strategic Sourcing at DSM I effectively ensured the sourcing of essential resources for DSM’s global operations across industries and categories and pinpointed acquisition targets for DSM. This involved working with DSM's corporate strategy and creating and implementing business plans for several DSM business units that did not have presence in India. My entrepreneurial spirit prompted me to co-found Waarey Solutions Pvt. Ltd. an innovative wastewater management company and Regen Biosystems Pvt. Ltd. focusing on pioneering waste-to-energy solutions. These ventures provided invaluable insights into sustainability environmental challenges and the practical application of groundbreaking technologies. The diverse experiences gained from these ventures afford me a unique perspective as a leader at Fermbox Bio. In addition to my ventures mentioned above I am also on the board of the Indian Biogas Association helping the industry grow sustainably. Now as the President of Business Strategy at Fermbox Bio I leverage my extensive experience and profound understanding of the biotechnology landscape to spearhead our company's strategic vision.
