In my current role as Head - Maintenance Planning of OQ8, a state-of-the-art bbl/d refinery, based in Al Duqm, Oman, I am accountable for Maintenace planning, Scheduling, monitoring, maintenance budget and resource availability including Spares. OQ8 is independent joint-venture between Oman Oil Co.(OOC) and Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI). This venture represents the largest collaborative investment between two Gulf countries in the sector. I am self-motivated, results-oriented professional with 30+ years’ experience in Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning, Operational readiness (ORA), Man Management, Materials Management, Maintenance Contracts, Reliability & Asset Management including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), Maintenance Budget, KPIs and optimization in oil refining / petrochemical / process industry. I have been for last16+ Years in managing teams in Refinery Maintenance. I enjoy sharing information with pears, colleagues and subordinates and Committed to safety and a “Do it right first time” philosophy.
