Responsibility & Accountability • Responsible for studying production schedules and estimating worker hour requirement for completion of job assignment • Responsible for interpreting company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations • Responsible for establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules • Responsible for analyzing and resolving work issues, and assisting workers in solving same • Responsible for initiating or suggesting plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals • Responsible for directing food handlers and production staff in sanitary and pest-control procedures • Responsible for the cleaning of equipment and work areas • Responsible for inspecting premises for unsanitary practices and conditions Responsibility: Decision Making/Independence of Action • Responsible for every aspect of the performance, safety, quality, documentation, and cost efficiency of the area(s) he/she is in charge of and reporting any abnormalities to the Sanitation Manager • Works closely with Quality Control to achieve the desired level of sanitation for adequate food processing • Works closely with the Maintenance department to take care of, and address any maintenance related issues that arise or that would affect the production of healthy, sanitary products and building repairs • Responsible for the coordination of the department – training of the crew and labour scheduling • Manages the supply of necessary chemicals, supplies and equipment to perform all sanitation tasks as required • Responsible for keeping and following a Master Sanitation Schedule of items that require periodic attention • Issue necessary coaching and discipline as needed
