About Binod Silwal

I am an IT graduate who is open-minded, adaptable, and an excellent listener. I have a great sense of responsibility and interest in leadership and I take a learning attitude as my greatest strength. I am always obsessed with how IT has come a long way and still there is an infinite way to cover. Being an IT graduate, I believe it is fair to say I have a dream to be a successful IT professional with my own company in a near future. For this, I am focusing on collecting ideas from different sources: internship, current job roles, references, university, events, and so on. I have enjoyed working on various job roles in the past. I have worked as an engineer in the telecommunication industry. With proven skills and development, I had climbed the stairs of growth and became project coordinator and then a project manager at the telecommunication companies where I learned- to manage people and lead a team - to manage client relation - to meet deadlines and SLAs - to track progress, development, budget, and time After completing Masters in ICT from the University of the Sunshine Coast, I have learned several skills including Python, Database, Networking Management, Managing People, Australian Workplace Environment, Professional Practice, and Ethics, and so on. These skills have made me equipped to kick-off my ICT career in Australia. I believe learning is a key to success. Some skills can be learned through practice. If there is any skill (eg. Hard coding skills), I believe I can achieve that after training and continuous practice, Furthermore, I can bring some transferrable skills like Customer Service, Project Management, Client Relation Management, Leadership, Team Play, etc. with me to be competent enough for the ICT roles.
